At 7 p.m. local time, nothing Device 1 will be on sale nationwide. Nothing, a London-based startup, unveiled its first smartphone in India the other week. Display: 6.55″ OLED with 120Hz refresh rate; processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+; cameras: 50MP + 2MP; battery: 4,500mAh; quick charging: 33W.
The Phone also has a translucent rear panel that sets it apart from the others. The Glyph lights, a collection of LED panels that shine in different patterns in response to alerts and ringtones, benefit from the transparent rear panel.
Flexible OLED display featuring 60hz to 120hz adjustable frame rate, haptic touch actuators HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Screen 5 on front and back are included in Nothing Phone (1). The Phone’s 4500mAh battery supports 33W fast charging. However, neither the charger nor the transparent phone cover is included in the package.
The Qualcomm Android 778+ SoC powers the Phone, which has 12GB of RAM & 256Gb of storage as standard. It is available in three different configurations, each with eight gigabytes of RAM and one or more solid-state drives (SSDs): 128GB, 256GB, and 128GB + 12TB. This one cannot enlarge its storage capacity. A NothingOS skip on top of Android 12 provides a stock Android interface on the Nothing Phone.
The business claims to provide three years of Android service and four years of monthly security updates. These additional features include dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor and much more.
Buyers who which was before nothing Phone (1) using HDFC bank cards would get an immediate discount of Rs 2,000. Nothing has also unveiled a Rs 2,499 45W charger from Nothing Power. It will be discounted at Rs 1,499 for Phone 1 purchasers during the pre-order period. A special price of Rs 5,999 is being offered to consumers before the Phone (1).

Only Google Pixel & Samsung Galaxy devices were supported when the Nothing Launchpad app was published; however, this may list drastically enlarged to enable practically every Android smartphone with Android 11 and later compatibility. An excellent probability is that if your Android is less than two years old, it can run the Nothing Launcher.
As beta software, the Launcher may have defects and performance concerns, so if you are using it daily, be warned that there may be some issues. Nothing has released the Nothing Phone 1; however, the Launcher has not been updated to a final version yet, so we have tried version 1.0.2.
