Issues With The Quality Of Apple's Camera Lenses For The Iphone 14

According to a forecast by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo published only last week, there may be a “minimal effect” on sales of the iPhone 14 this autumn. Some of the iPhone 14’s rear-facing camera lenses are experiencing “quality difficulties,” according to a fresh revelation from analyst Kuo.
According to the analyst’s description on Twitter, Lenses given by Genius have “coating-crack quality concerns.” To prevent substantial delays in manufacturing the iPhone 14, Apple has already switched orders of around 10 million sets of lenses from Genius to Largan, the Taiwanese lens-focused business.
These failures have not dampened my confidence in Largan’s ability to cover the supply gap. It should take one to two months to fix the coating-crack concerns in Genius’ lenses. Until this is resolved, Largan should remain the primary lens supplier again for iPhone 14 range.
Given this, it’s doubtful that the current state of affairs would result in Apple delaying the launch of the iPhone 14. Do not be surprised if the product only comes in a restricted number of units. Since Apple buys components for new products months before they go on sale, it has plenty of time to address issues like this if they arise.
On the other hand, SG Micro’s integrated circuits have passed the firm’s quality certification, according to Kuo’s report from the previous week. This demonstrates that Apple has a backup strategy in place in case of substantial delays in the delivery of the iPhone 14.
