How To Filter Out Rude, Offensive, Inappropriate Comments On Instagram In 2022? Instagram, a photo-sharing network owned by Meta, has introduced additional tools to protect its users and producers from spam and abuse. New and updated options include blocking and Hidden Words.
Instagram’s “Hidden Words” Feature:
The Hidden Words function was implemented so that users may automatically remove potentially damaging words from their comments and communication requests on the social networking site.
Instagram says users who turn on Hidden Words in comments would see 40% fewer potentially harmful remarks. However, if you are worried about saying anything that may be misunderstood or insulting, you can use the Hidden Remarks collection of phrases and emojis to cloak your words. If you use this function, you will not see any results for the terms or words you have concealed, including comments on the posts or messages.
To Filter Out Inappropriate Comments Launch Instagram
- To access your profile, click the photo of yourself in the lower right corner.
- In the upper right, you will see a button with three lines.
- Access the preferences menu by clicking the Settings button.
- Put a checkmark next to the confidential box.
- Select the “Hidden Words” button
- Turn off features like Hide Comments, Comprehensive Comment Filtering, or Hide Message Requests under the Harmful Words and Phrases section.
If you have comments that you’d want to remain hidden from the public, you may do so; however, they will still count toward your total number of comments. If there are certain words, phrases, numbers, or emojis that you would like not to appear in remarks or message requests, you may add them to your list.
Anytime you want, you may make changes to this list. Both comments and requests for private messages will be filtered to remove these terms. We will demonstrate how to include user-supplied words in the dictionary.
